  • We were lucky enough to see the Moody Blues on Friday and then John Mellencamp on Saturday. This venue is small enough so you can have a great seat no matter where you are.  more »

  • I stayed for a couple nights in the women's hostel and had a pleasant experience. For the price, it was great. The bathrooms are all private units with a shower and toilet which is lovely. A bit of a walk to get to the baths, though. The bunks themselves are kind of old and make a lot of noise when you climb into them. So much that you'll wonder if it's going to collapse. The room for the women's hostel has twelve beds and very poor air circulation as the large room is shaped like an L with only one small window towards the front, but at the back it gets very dark if you prefer darkness for sleeping. But because of the darkness, people will always need to turn on the lights after dark which may disturb others. The perks of the hotel such as the soaking pool are available to those who stay in the hostel, which is great. Ample parking and an easy trip into Portland. Great location for those wishing to go for hikes in the parks. Downtown Troutdale is also adorable and not too far. The charm of the old building is also quite magical.
  • The Edgefield McMenamins is a perfect venue for a relaxing "me" day at Ruby's spa or a family reunion for your group large or small. The staff is always pleasant and receptive to your every whim. The whimsical rooms and the 5 star food and beverage make for a refreshing and satisfying stay no matter the length. I can't wait to go back!
  • Day four of my vacation, and my girlfriend booked here for my birthday. Let me tell you, completely worth it! The staff here were friendly, the room we got was extremely spacious, and the feel of the whole place was great. We ate at one of the restaurants, and the food was delicious, and the beers brewed here were amazing. We also got the Beer 101, which got us two taster flights and a 64oz growler fill. Took a load off from a day of travelling by soaking in the hot tub which was relaxing, before calling it a night in our room Travelers, look no further, great food and drinks all without leaving property. Make sure to stop and take it all in.
  • A handful of fun buildings and outdoor venues around the grounds, outdoor movies and concerts in the summertime, what's not to love? Good pub food, lots of drinks to choose from. Golf, at least last time I checked. A fun place to visit for family or just adults. Never checked out the hotel or spa, but I hear they're good too.
  • The rooms are quaint and very comfortable. The extensive bars and hideaways on the estate are amazing and provide great beer, food, and wine. Pool hall underneath has plenty of bar games and amazing service. Just a heads up, the majority of rooms share bathrooms and noise travels easily. The soaking pool is fantastic and a great way to recover from the previous nights bar crawl.
