  • Lovely place . Campsites are close . The views are amazing . A little pricey. .. 64 $ for 2 nights .pay showers . Great prices for laundry . Lively at times ,quiet at others . Camp hosts very nice. Trinadad is a nice town .
  • We had a church picnic here and a barbecue. It was so much fun they have horseshoe pits so we played horseshoes we had area cross the plate cross from us at the kids could play and have fun and run and not worry about them beautiful like absolutely gorgeous and the ranger was so nice he was very helpful telling us where we needed to clean and what was expected of us when we left thank you so much
  • I've just driven around the lake and through the park so far, since I recently moved here. But the lake and the area around it are beautiful. And if you are into history, one of the things to look at are the old coke ovens -- I'd never seen coke ovens before -- don't even know the history about them yet, but they were impressive to drive by.
  • Great state Park. The campground was well maintained, electric and water hook-ups available. Everyone was friendly and respectful of quiet time. Restrooms were well maintained, a little pricy for a shower but did the job. There are dish washing stations available too. There is a stage for performances but we were not there long enough to see any. Lovely area.
  • All state parks in Colorado are well taken care of. You can see those tax dollars well invested here. Infrastructure, safety measures and operationa are ran like clock work here. Undoubtedly a good place to check out.
