Trinidad Lake State Park Reviews
Seems a great location for those who want to go onto the lake or fish, very beautiful but we didn't find the so called 'hiking' trail(s) we found that great for walking with our dogs. It cost $7 to ge... more »
Unfortunately we didn’t get to go through all of the park but what we saw was beautiful. Snow capped mountains, snow was on the ground in areas even tho it was in the 50’s outside. Several lakes, with... more »
Stayed here for a weekend trip with friends. Easy to locate coming right off the highway and the paths are nice. Beautiful view of the snowcapped mountains from where the campsites are located. If you... more »
This park is great. I love walking around this area. There is never a dull moment. I always want to come here on a nice day. The sun is always out when I arrive. I usually bring my dog and she runs around all day long. I miss living here because of this park. Thanks for all the good memories!
I was travelling though area and pulled off the road for a break. I did not get to see enough to know if I was interested in spending any time there before I was told I must pay $7 -- there was 14 inches of snow on the ground and I declined! I have since moved to the area but have not and will not visit this park if it is all about the money, regardless if you get any satisfaction from it. So I would rate it a 0 if I could!
Beautiful scenery and the most laid back people I have ever had the opportunity to meet...it's so unbelievable how you feel like everyone is doing their own thing... almost like you're alone, but you're not lonely. Totally unjugemental and free spirited.
Wonderful place to experience God's fingerprint! Beautifully maintained. Nice & friendly staff, at the park office. Stunning views! Small fee, to visit. My dog loved it, and so did I.
Absolutely love this park! The staff must be so proud - it is beautifully maintained. Great place to walk the dogs, lots of little walkways and overlooks, beautiful view. The amphitheater would be a perfect place for a wedding! Peaceful and friendly, great visit!
