  • Upon entering we loved the smell...we were offered tea and the person working there was very knowledgeable about all the teas. We were a little taken aback by the price but very fine teas.  more »
  • We went in Friday afternoon, Missy who helped us was so knowledgeable with teas. We decided to get two kinds of tea made which were both delicious. We ended up buying one of the teas we tasted and the...  more »
  • I just love this place. It is a bit out of the way but I love that you can grab and try tea while you're there. They have matcha. The staff were extremely helpful. They usually have tea you can try. T...  more »

  • I visited Light of Day as a special stop while on vacation. The shop is great and is stocked with an excellent selection of teas. Frankly, I was not very knowledgeable, but Angela cheerfully guided me through my selection. Angela is great, by the way. Her enthusiasm is contagious. My wife and I continued to talk about our visit for days. Well worth a visit, even if you know nothing about tea.
  • Not bad, just need to learn how to brew tea correctly. Very nicely done grounds and use of solar power.
  • Super cool, chill place to visit. They grow most of their own tea here, with the only thing they don't grow on site coming from the tropics.
  • We had a delightful experience with Teri. She was knowledgeable, personable, and best of all, fun! We had a flight of tea, and a tisane. Then we tried Matcha. The shop is calming, the farm is pretty. She also gave us homework. Yes! We are to spread the word that "herbal tea" is actually not tea. It is tisane. Teri, we are using the correct name, and telling everyone we know. And I continue to slurp with great abandon. Definitely worth the trip.
  • Lots of great teas & blends. The amount of locally grown tea is limted for obvious reasons. Staff can answer lots of questions about tea.
