  • This was a very pretty place but the wine was very disappointing. The service was just ok. We were hoping for a lot more when we pulled in.

  • We have visited here for many years. The staff is incredible - and Bob, the owner, is a kind and accommodating host. Tonight he took the time to personally start a fire for us in the common area fireplace and share history of the vineyard with us. I especially like their late harvest Riesling. A beautiful place to spend time - with sincere and welcoming hosts!
  • Just left the winery…literally one of 2 parties in winery. It’s a beautiful place with pretty good wine…but stood at counter trying to buy 3 bottles of wine and was completely ignored while the bartender gabbed with a trio of females in the other party. Probably won’t be back. Sorry, don’t like to do this…but sheesh…Update: 2 parties in the whole winery and I need to ring a bell to spend my money?!? OK, I guess…thank you for the reply and information
  • Chateau Chantal is nothing short of incredible. Hailey and Crystal (apologies if I misspelled her name) made my proposal to my now-fiancee absolutely perfect. They were very accommodating and went the extra mile to make the experience memorable. The winery is also beautiful. Would absolutely recommend to all my friends and will definitely be coming back next time we are in TC.
  • Beautiful grounds, view, and establishment. It is one of the best places to appreciate the TC peninsula panoramic views. However, the wine is nowhere as impressive. We had 6 different wines and can say out of the dozen + wineries in the area we have been, it is the least appealing in regards to taste. But , That View... So my recommendation is definitely go for the ambience and if you enjoy the wine there, than that is a bonus. Or as a consideration check out Sutton's bay ciders. Yes it's not wine, but the drinks are very tasty, and they are a very close runner up with the best epic views in the TC area. Plus the vibe is way more low key and chill.
  • We went for our 10 year anniversary and stayed in the Berhen suite! It was STUNNING!!! All of the staff and the owner are so kind and accommodating. The Chateau and the views are simply beautiful. Highly recommend!!
