The upper section, the adventure float, offers a scenic trip along tree-lined banks that features rapids and swimming holes. The lower section serves as a family area with a rope swing, small area of more gentle rapids, and a rock jump. Bring your swimsuit and water shoes. • First time we have ever been tubing, and it was a great experience all round. Lots of car parking, everything was clean and well organised. All the equipment looked well cared for. All the staff were ...  more »
  • Good Food, Friendly Servers, Beautiful atmosphere on the River, Reasonable prices. Next time we will try rafting-for now rafting is closed for the Season.
  • Went late in the season and they were the only tubing company still operating so I guess we were in luck! But I went last year and a few other times in years past and the price at the River Rat was wa...  more »
  • This was so fun! We dropped our tubes in the river and coasted down at a fun but relaxing pace. It started to rain pretty hard while we were on the river but it is warm enough out (in August) that it made the adventure that much more fun. The only thing to watch out for is if the water level is low the rocks can get in the way and you might have a tough time maneuvering around them. With a little effort it's not that big of a deal compared to how much fun the rest of the ride is.
  • I liked having the option of an open tube and tube with a bottom. They had two pick up spots because the river was low. The river wasn't crowded in that area, and they had a good spot to jump off a rock about half way down. It was expensive though, $16. I was happy they have my 2 year old a tube for her for free though (bring your own tether though they charge).
  • A great experience. Our family of 12 loved it so much that we went twice the week we were in Pigeon Forge. Great staff. Great River. Fun Rapids. They have a spot about an hour whEre you can jump off a huge rock. So much fun. I would go weekly if we lived closer. We actually attempted to go to another "tubing" place (which will go unnamed), but after waiting close to an hour and not even being acknowledged.. We drove another 45 minutes to get back to the River Rat. Don't waste your time anywhere else.
  • Quite a relaxing ride. The river was pretty cold, but you get used to it. It's really scenic and family friendly, plus wallet friendly too! The ride was about 1.5 hours long, and you were allowed to go as many times as you wanted. Pretty awesome!
  • Staff very nice and helpful, getting there early is ideal, u save more money by getting there before 11am and it's less crowded, they'll hold your keys for u. Fun for everyone, we had two teenagers and a four year old, tubing was great it took us about 2 1/2- 3 hours to complete the trip, great place if u love being on the water, check this place out
