  • It was clean and bustling. The service was great there. They had a very extensive store on-site. Plenty of bathrooms, super friendly staff. I forget movies so one of the staff let me borrow from her private collection. The pool was too cold for adult comfort but the kids had a great time. I loved the set up, camping spots around a huge Central grassy area, playground, fenced pool, pavilion. The grassy area was well maintained and large enough to accommodate a number of poeple playing frisbee and football at the same time. I will definitely return!
  • Our family of four stays here in a travel trailer twice a year for about 6-8 nights, total. Always a nice place. WIFI blows but I have never been to an RV park that has great wifi. Ever. Pool is small but nice and has never been crowded. The gift shop and camp store is also very nice. I've never needed to go anywhere else for last minute food/gifts. Hosts are outstanding and the facility is always clean. Sites are nice and the grass play area and kids playground keep the little ones happy. Bring a long Sewer hose and you'll be fine (sewer hookup is placed weird on some sites). Overall, my favorite RV park for the money.
  • Stayed at the Thousand Lakes RV Park in a motorhome. This park delivers on the overall experience that other parks strive for but fail to provide. It is a well thought out operation that offers a family friendly environment for both RV's and tent campers. The entire experience reminded us of our summer camp experiences. While only planning an overnight stay, we were unable to start our class A motorhome. The park manager's brother operates an adjacent auto repair facility and correctly diagnosed the problem as a bad starter motor. He was able to order the replacement delivered from Salt Lake City and had us back on the road the following day at noon. He was timely in his response, knowledgeable about motorhomes and provided fair pricing. This was an unexpected but welcome level of service in such a remote area [near Capitol Reef NP].. The fact that he could make the repairs while the vehicle was parked at the RV park was a second bonus!
  • Very clean. Staff Dan and Connie Peterson were awesome.
  • A decent stay with good amenities for the tent-camper. At first the staff was a little 'quirky' about our seemingly early arrival - even thought it was after noon. Regardless, they have shade trees at almost every tent site and walls between for privacy. You don't get a lot of space, so hope for friendly neighbors! The showers and toilets are clean (you might bump your head on the door of the toilet). There is a lot of coming and going so bring earplugs. If you want quiet - this isn't it. If you want convenience and good facilities, give it a go.
