  • The Nantahala River is a lovely river to raft especially on a Wednesday at the end of the season. Less crowds, beautiful scenery. Would recommend a guide as they are very familiar with the river and w...  read more »
  • Yesterday, we (2 adults, 2 teens) went rafting with this company - it was the perfect combination of easy and slightly challenging rapids. The fall colors were beautiful, our guide was friendly and re...  read more »
  • Great experience. It was my first time rafting, and we did an unguided run. Just be sure to pay attention to safety guidelines if you happen to go unguided and flip your craft! I loved it. The water w...  read more »
  • Our guide was great. I took my 3 young sons and they all stayed in the raft down the Nantahala River. The team was professional and fun and we were well taken care of. There was a slight delay while the dam was getting turned on, but one of the guides eased our minds and gave us some extra instructions during the wait. I'd recommend them to anyone, just let them know what you'd like and they will do their best to comply on the river.
  • Great trip! Very beautiful! The staff were great. Plenty of restrooms and changing rooms :) The bus ride was the scariest part haha ;)
  • 2 ladies I spoke to on phone were friendly but lady at front was rude when we showed up. Boats were fine. Instructions were great for nonguided peps.
  • Our guide Tim was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable about the history of the river and patient with our group of mixed skill levels. Excellent introduction to whitewater rafting for the beginners in our group, and a relaxing and fun experience for the rest.
  • Went on a groupon so we got a good deal. Came with booties and wet suit, as well as an assisted guide. Workers were very intelligible and nice. Felt safe and had a professional atmosphere. Had never done something like this before but felt comfortable the whole time. The class 2 and 3 rapids are not scary for a beginner. Got $10 off pictures and we ended up buying all of them because they were all so great! Wet suit recommended even if you think it's too hot...that water is chilly. Made my boyfriend scream like a girl.
