  • This is a gorgeous park and there are plenty of walking areas with a beautiful rose garden it's an old park that has a great traditional feel plenty of activities for the kids and it's all free
  • This park was just as great as I remember from my childhood when I recently took my children. I love this place, especially the train and rose garden!
  • Great park for the whole family. I always like taking my wife to the Rose Garden and go for walks there. The zoo is also fun but if you are expecting the Omaha zoo then it will not be that at all. But the park is very nice. The train is also fun to ride as well. Kids love the train. The playground areas are a lot of fun for my nieces and nephews every time we take them there. There is also a special area for you to let your dog play as well or you can just walk around the park with your dog. It is a nice place to just relax or to go jogging or any kind of fun. My family has been going to the park since before I was born and we still enjoy it.
  • Thr park is a great place to go for a walk. There are Pokestops all around for players who like Pokemon Go, and there is a nest throughout as well (So far the nest has featured Seel and then Slowpoke). The park is always clean and upkept.
  • Gage park is big and beautiful. Very nice to walk around to the rose garden, zoo, and various parks within the park. It has tennis courts and lots of space. Has some pretty ponds. Would like to see more sidewalks around to stay off the road and ride a bicycle.
  • for my 10 and 11 year old the options here are limited - the park playground is definitely geared to younger and smaller children. They have a lot of park options, but lots of teens/adults out smoking, drinking, and carousing so we generally avoid it when possible.
  • This is a great park for adults and children alike. There are so many things to do in one space. You can literally go and spend hours at the park. The big bonuses is that the zoo, Discovery Center, and pool are also in the same area. For a family like mine in which we have little kids and older kids, it gives everyone something to do in one trip without anyone complaining about being bored of having nothing to do. This is one of the nicest parks in Topeka and definitely a great alternative to driving out to Shawnee Lake.
