  • I love to walk in this park. If the Manor house is doing tours, go on one, it takes you back into a different time. The Stable house has a wonderful bird watching area, and really fat squirrels! Check...  read more »
  • Went here for a grad party. Excellent trails and scenery. The buildings in the park are very neat as well. This park definitely seems more useful as an event park rather than a hiking park. However, t...  read more »

  • Toledo has the nicest metropark system of any major metropolitan area I have ever been to. Wildwood is absolutely fantastic as its situated right in the middle of heavily trafficked areas yet its quiet and serene to allow you to enjoy your walk. It is an extremely busy park though and there are usually loads of people utilizing it at one time, but its so vast and a variety of traisl you can usually avoid running in to many people. Wildwood is a fantastic park and worth the visit.
  • It's telling that there are spots in the middle of Wildwood, back on the trails, where the sounds of traffic almost disappear. Nearly 500 acres, once the private estate of the Champion Spark Plug-founding Stranahan family, now a preferred spot to get your daily dose of the color green. If you have lived in the Toledo area for more than a year and haven't been here, you do yourself a disservice. Like all the area Metroparks, the grounds are clean, the trails well-maintained, and the facilities in good order.
  • Great walking park. Also has a couple of very nice playgrounds. Connects with the University Trail which is perfect for biking or rollerblading. Park can fill up. If that happens, try the lot by the farmhouse at the corner of Corey or head a couple miles up the street to Secor Metropark, another very nice park.
  • Very nice place. Good for all kinds of activities. Very fresh air and good weather, even very hot outside but pretty cool in there. And very beautiful of course!
  • Absolutely love this park! The just replaced the kids play area, so much fun for the family. Or just to go by yourself and walk around beautiful!
