  • Nature at its best. Then again all of the metro parks in this area are great. I suggest visiting get them all. Fall colors are coming so it's a great time to visit
  • We got married back in the middle of this park 40 years ago. Not bias just for that reason it is just a great large park. Actually all of our MetroParks parks are incredible. Very clean, unique in nat...  read more »

  • Big, beautiful park. Many trails and playgrounds. Has a nice pond you can fish in or cookout by. The rental facilities here are really nice and pretty cheap. This park is a little hard to get to, but is never crowded.
  • What a beautiful park! There's plenty of well kept trails, beautiful lakes, and some spectacular densely wooded areas. It's a great asset to the community!
  • Most of this park was the normal kind of place to walk through, pretty but something you find fairly often. But there is a patch of trees that are absolutely stunning--tall, picturesque, and able to be walked through with ease because of minimal ground covering. We also ran into someone from Australia looking just for this spot, so it seems to really be something people from around the world are checking out. This section makes a good park a great one! Oh, I'm generally just a hiker, but there are also horse & bike trails. I haven't used them so I can't say how good they are, but they appeared to be top notch.
  • Perfect place to just get away for a day! Great trails, playground, and lakes! Beautiful in the fall. Don't forget to check out the nature center and watch the birds.
  • Great mix of environments. This park truly has it all. Walking, biking and horse trails. Fishing and great picnicking areas.
