  • A fascinating store full of local nic nacs, artisan items, gifts and also dielicious snacks and coffee too I think they may be helpful in finding local holiday accommodation too  more »
  • It's no great loss that the General Store has closed because, like everyone else, we found high prices and rude service. However, the free summer concerts in Tood held on the great lawn in front of th...  more »

  • We love the Todd area; friendly people and beautiful country side! Sad there is a bad apple in an otherwise pristine barrel. The owners (man especially) were rude, and they are way overpriced. I am sorry I gave them any business, it won't happen again.
  • Hopefully all the wonderful ,friendly people and places in the Todd area will not be judged by the owner of this establishment. Never have experienced such rude treatment and total lack of customer service. Accused my family of breaking one of his overpriced plaques and smugly presented it to us as we were leaving since we had broken it!! Not even aware of any accidents, but my brother paid him anyway. Had we known we had broken anything, we would have certainly brought it to his attention. After I gave him his "plaque" back and told him how rude he really was......His reply was " You must be Baptist"!!!!!!!!!!! (whatever that means). It was only a ten dollar plaque,, but the experience was HORRIBLE..
  • Quaint old general store with an awesome little grill. Great lunch spot!
  • The owner was a decidedly unfriendly man. I walked out and went across the street to the mercantile. They were very nice and had terrific hot-from-the-oven cinnamon buns with maple creme icing!
  • The owner is rude and creepy. His behavior toward my wife was offensive. The food is overpriced and it's a tourist trap. Go to The Mercantile across the street and enjoy the people of Todd (owners and customers).
