  • Absolutely amazing museum here, if you are a history buff or just enjoy seeing our history this place is perfect. The ladies at the Chamber of Commerce (which serves as the start ) are super helpful and super nice and are willing to help with anything you may need. Ray at the museum gift shop was also full of history knowledge. I will be going back and I highly recommend this to anyone who has watched Band of Brothers.
  • I work along side the Currahee Military Museum. I am praying he Welcome Center Director. It is a fascinating museum that offers so much rich history of not only the City of Toccoa & Stephens County, but the Currahee Military, that trained right here in the '40's. the first paratroopers were trained at the base of Currahee Mountain. In this 14,000 sq ' museum, you will be amazed by the quality, the history shared. This is one place you do not want to miss!
  • Excellent stroll through history.
  • What an incredible place with so much history and exhibits!
  • A must see if you are a fan of WWII history. Run/Walk the nearby Currahee "Sink" memorial trail. Kids will enjoy it too!
