  • It was incredible seeing all the aircraft in the hangars! The people working there also flew an aircraft and it was a spectacular show!

  • This place was really great and informative. I must admit it wasn’t on my list for things to do on our Florida holiday but we went as my father wanted to go, happy to admit I’m pleased he did as this....  more

  • Great museum for the military machine enthusiast. My 14 year old son and I visited this morning and the planes that are on display are very well preserved/maintained. These are on par with some of the bigger museums we have visited. You can tell they really care about the machines in their care. They have some real unique pieces with very interesting stories attached. Our tour guide, Curtis was great. He was very patient with my son who is a big military plane buff, so he had lots of anecdotes to share. There are a couple different air conditioned museum areas with lots of military memorabilia and artifacts on display. The gift shop is small but nice and they have lots of different t-shirts and models available for purchase. If we are back in the area again, we will probably come back for another visit with the rest of the family. Definitely worth the price of admission.
  • Great not very well publicized aircraft museum. 2 hangars full of planes from WWI on. Tour guys are volunteer retired military. They give free tours and are very enthusiastic about sharing their love of aviation. It’s definitely worth stopping by for a visit. Would highly recommend. Hangars are not air conditioned so be prepared to be hot.
  • What a great museum! Leave yourself about 2-4 hours to see everything. Definitely get a guided tour. So many details explained about every single plane on display. One suggestion, take a drink with you as it can get warm out in the hangars. I hope they put a soda machine out in the hangars. We got pretty thirsty during a 2 hour tour in mid-July. Make sure to buy some items from the gift shop to help support them. We will definitely go back in the spring for a slower pace self tour to read all the placques and details.
  • War planes that once defended our freedom
  • I can’t believe I hadn’t seen this place sooner. One of the best Korean/Vietnam era museums I’ve ever seen. There is also no limit as to how close you could go to the aircraft, which was extremely cool. I walked around the whole place with my jaw on the floor looking at all the Century series (F-100) and the F-14A and F-4 up close, along with the Mig-21U (trainer type). The best part was that there wasn’t a guide chaperoning us around and we were free to look at whatever we wanted from as close as we wanted for as long as we wanted. Definitely a must see, but probably keep little kids close to you so that they don’t have to make a rule about how close you can get to the planes.
