  • I grew up close to Reelfoot Lake and after about 30 years, I took my kids for a side day trip a couple weeks ago. We started out at the Visitor Center at the State Park. We looked at the literature in...  more »
  • The lake is a really beautiful and unusual area. The park is in several different areas along the lake. There are several places to launch a boat and several boardwalks to get a good view of the lake....  more »
  • We didn't have a lot of time to explore the area like we wanted. We would love to go back one day. The area is beautiful and the history of the lake is neat. Would love to go back and see some eagles!

  • Nice park and campground. We love to go looking for bald eagles, especially in January and February when there are hundreds of bald eagles in the area. The South Unit of the campground is pretty good, right on the lake, with lots of waterfowl. The North Unit of the campground is nice also, though very isolated, very quiet, very few campers around. Love the surrounding area for bird watching, especially along the river.
  • Nice park especially in October. The cypress trees and all of the other trees are in full color! Lake is beautiful. Great visitor center. Clean park. Most of the sites have water on one side and electric on other, so they are older. Noticed some back-ins by lake are on same side, so updated. We stayed here in a travel trailer. It's a beautiful park.
  • Great place to visit. Lots of Osprey and Eagles. Campground is nice. Fishing is king here. We kayaked around the lake and enjoyed. Visitors center has live eagles, owls and other wildlife that cannot be released again.
  • Clean park, lots of fun for the kids.
  • Wish I could give it 2.5 stars. The park is pretty but there is trash everywhere. As well there is not very many hiking trails. The fishing was good with at least 50 crappie and 4 warmouth caught in two days fishing.
