  • This is a tourists dream. Tons of fun and unique food items to sample and purchase as well as lots of other souvenirs. Great sandwiches. Lots of fun touristy things to look at on the grounds.
  • A friendly and unique place with wine tasting for $5 and a decent bowl if clam chowder for $5. A worthwhile stop that offers samples also.
  • They specialize here in brie type cheese and is not unpleasant. They also have a selection of wine to taste. Some with their own label, but do not be fooled, the wine is produced for them and then re ...  read more »
  • I love this place, I stop in every time I'm in Tillamook. It is nowhere near as busy as the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and it has more artisanal choices. They also do sandwiches with pretty much any of their products. Aside from the food, Blue Heron has a very interesting collection of things. There are farm animals for the kids and old farm equipment for the kids at heart. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.
  • I would visit here 20 times before braving the Tillamook factory! Their brie is so good, great selections of wines, cheese and dips. Great samples of mustards, jams, dressings. The wine sampling is fun and a great way to taste several local wines. Plus you can feed llamas and donkeys! I love this place so much! The staff is incredible and friendly too.
  • BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE- Blue Heron advertises pinot gris at $13.56/bottle on their website and when you add to cart, they raise the price to $16.95/bottle. I contacted the Management and they dont honor the advertised price but they said thank you we will fix our website! FALSE ADVERTISING and BAD MANAGEMENT !!!!
  • This place is fantastic! I visited here on a trip to Tillamook and it is great for adults who don't want large crowds and noise like at the Tillamook cheese factory. They have a petting farm with different sheep, goats, donkeys, birds and even an emu! The animals were so sweet and for $1 you could feed them. The Blue Heron itself was delightful! The had free wine tasting, Brie sampling and other various dips, sauces and jellys to sample. All were great quality I highly recommend for a light lunch spot to taste samples order a anti pasta platter or sandwich and visit some farm animals!
  • Seriously the worst brie cheese ever. I'm a chef and buy local when i can, I came to this place thinking it'd be a fresh, Oregon, cheese place. Couldn't be more wrong. It's clearly a tourist trap. Ok, I'm cool with that; let's try the cheese.....Mediocre AT BEST. Their pepper cheese was more dissapointing than Walmart's American cheese.
