  • We decided to take the kids camping to bring in the New Year. We stayed at camp site 206. This site was tucked away from all other camp sites making it very hidden and secluded. The only bad thing abo...  more »
  • We could itself 10 USD in an envelope do if access permission. There was further hardly what to see. It was not possible to get close to the water or the dam. It is a beautiful area for picnic or bbq, because there was enough facility for. Nor to be able to fish, but how one at the water is beyond me, because the waterfront is heavily overgrown. Watch out for sharp tangles you thus to your pants.

  • Stopped here during a work trip and was able to run the trails. Wish I had more time to enjoy this beautiful state park!

  • For our needs, I give it 5 stars. We were looking for a quiet shady place to grill our lunch and relax in our portable loungers. We picked a spot at the South Shore location. Picnic areas offered considerably more shade. Talk about quiet. It is Sunday and we are the only ones here. Clean restrooms. Beautiful lake view. Covered picnic tables and adjustable height grills.
  • love this place we had a church camping trip it was wonderful the gym ahs air conditioning the park Rangers were so nice and helpful
  • It was our first time camping as a family, the staff is nice and friendly. The primitive camping had shelter for the picnic tables which was convenient and we were lakeside. The night we stayed someone had their generator on all night 😐 Lots of frogs, careful they have gators.
  • This is one of the best places for peace and quiet and lots of deer and turkeys etc. The animals are not afraid of the humans and the RV lots are huge. You have neighbors but are not crowded. I
  • There where no places to cool off and there where no places to swim as the description stated but there was a lot of wildlife and no one around that was nice just terribly hot.
