  • You see many artifacts and handcrafted items from long ago. Very cute place to explore. Be sure you leave a nice donation!

  • Great self-guided tours of 100+ year old building with docents to answer questions. We went during a weekend when music and beer was provided. Old farming and logging gear is available to look...

  • In 2010, Three Lakes, Wisconsin, was voted the "Single Best Town in America!" Now where in the World is Three Lakes, Wisconsin? It's in the North Woods of Wisconsin, 250 miles north of Milwaukee...

  • A nice museum of local history. It does include a cubicle dedicated to Sam Campbell, but is not worth a long trip if you are familiar with his book series. Finding a local ski club and renting a boat to go see their island home and walking the Sam Campbell Memorial Trail will do much more to round out your trip.
  • I really enjoyed this local history museum. My family has been enjoying the summer in Three Lakes for 50 years, but 1st time here. I suggest it to anyone who enjoys local history.
  • Really was better than I thought. What we saw of it. Several of the buildings were closed. But it was a pretty dead time and we did not ask them to Open up.
  • Very nicely done, knowledgeable volunteers.
