  • We went on a whim because we were visiting friends in Bozeman and had a free day. We didn’t even know this park existed, but saw the sign as we drove to KOA! What a wonderful surprise! We signed...  more »
  • We had a very nice visit to the caverns. We took the classic tour and had the best guide with Sam. He was funny and knowledgable not only about the caverns but the area. We saw some beautiful...  more »
  • We chose the Paradise tour and it was a quick in and out about an hour tour. You only see two rooms but the guide did point out the different formations. I do not know if it would be worth it to take....  more »

  • This is a Most Must See when in Montana!!! Known as one of the great wonders in the world, the Caverns are awe inspiring, beautiful, historic and breathtaking! Well worth the price... Our guide,Carmen was so humorous, and very professional and knowledgeable-she is a fantastic guide!! An extra added convenience-at no cost-if you have a dog(s) with you, there is a kennel area for them.... I highly recommend seeing the Lewis & Clarke caverns while your in Montana.
  • We loved our trip to the Lewis & Clark Caverns. We had such a fun time with our family. We have a young son and even he was able to do the caves with us. Highly recommend to families and individuals interested in an awesome experience to see all the amazing stalactites and stalagmites and other natural beauties. The view on the walk up to the cave is stunning. We did the 2 hour tour and can't wait to go back again!
  • Very nice cave, lots to see. You do need to be able to stand, walk, and stoop for 2 hours if you do the classic hike. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. In addition to normal cave formations we also saw a number of bats hanging and even a few flying around in the cave. If you have dogs they offer free kennels; not sure on specifics as we didn't bring a dog. They also have front packs you can borrow if you have a baby.
  • Really interesting and cool (literally). A lot of stairs and several narrow passages so be prepared. Wear tennis shoes or sturdy shoes, some people took a lightweight sweater or jacket, but I didn't need one. Not good for small children as it is a lot of up and down plus no touching or climbing. I would think 7 years of age and up would enjoy. We had a blast, guide was very good. Once in a lifetime experience! Tours cost was about $12 a person, but check website to confirm.
  • Great cave tour. The walk in on the standard tour has a bit of an incline bit they give you plenty of time to do it. Crouching around in the cave isn't too bad. Kids will love it. One of the best beaver slides around.
