  • Flatwoods is different for many people, although no motor powered vehicles allowed. Perhaps most would use the 7 mile paved loop, accessed via either a 0.6 miles, or a 2 miles section to the two parki...  more »
  • It seemed like a lovely park. My husband and two dogs went for a walk there on Tuesday. The weather was nice. The park was clean. My only complaint is the "trail map" is completely useless. My husband...  more »
  • Excellent place for biking. Long, hilly runs and flat as well. Asphalted throughout. Some sections under water after heavy rains. Full of wildlife!  more »

  • Great, paved 7 mile loop to complete long runs, including running to the loop from two park entry points. Serene surroundings and water stops at approximately every 2 miles. No need to worry about vehicle traffic, only to be mindful of bike riders also enjoying the more than wide paved asphalt. This is my go to place in Tampa to complete all lengths of training runs!
  • Great place for a quiet walk with your dog. You can trail off into the woods or stay on the broad car-free pavement. It's $2 to park all day and there are restrooms and bike repair stations available as well. Nice park!
  • I have only been here a couple of times for a skating event, but I have really enjoyed my experience here both times. It's a beautiful park and the pavement is nice and smooth to skate on. The last time I was there I got to see deer which was awesome!
  • Great 12 mile paved loop depending on which entrance you begin at i.e. Morrie Bridge rd or Bruce B Downs. Bike, skate, walk, dog friendly and nature all around you. $2 donation fee and nice place to exercise.
  • One of the best parks. Lately too many visitors are there. Some of them do not put dog on a leash. It is our responsibility as park visitors to abide by the rules of the park and so, please put every dog on an allowed (length given by the park authority) leash. Also, some strange looking vehicles, motorized are going through the park. These private vehicles should not be there. Respect nature, love nature, and nature will love you back.
