  • Beautiful park. Hiking trails. A country store. RV hooks up, including fire ring, water socket, picnic table, bath house. Primitive camping coming soon. A look out point overlooking the entire river. Tentacle pavilions, or first cone first serve basis. Plenty of picnic tables and grill. Beautiful shoals for kids to play in. Plenty of fish to be caught. 2 look out point on the hiking trail.
  • Beautiful scenery on the Flint River. We camped in the campground, which is fairly new. Camp sites are adequate, but some are a little close. Being new, the facilities are clean and well-maintained. Sprewell Bluff Road that runs through the park is paved all the way to the river rock parking area at the recreation area. The scenery at the recreation area is pretty spectacular; from rock-faced hills, the boulders in the river, "rapids" in the river, and wildlife. There are many picnic tables and grills along the river's edge, as well as two pavilions that can be rented. There‚Äč is also a playground for little ones, a sand volleyball court, and a large grassy area that would be great for playing frisbee or tossing a football. The only drawback to this area is the porta-potties which were disgusting.
  • Great scenery, really good hiking trails from easy to strenuous all with amazing views. Nice play ground and picnic area. Over all a well kept park
  • Best place in my area to go and have fun.
  • It's beautiful on the river
