  • What an amazing site. It's fairly remote but it appears there may have been a road below in the past. Directions on the brochure and the GPS were correct and easy to follow (I don't have confidence...  more »
  • At least 30 miles from Thermopolis, Legend Rock Petroglyph Site sits in the blazing sun. Be sure to wear hiking boots or covered shoes and bring water and your sense of adventure. It is said that...  more »
  • We were going to go here, but there was a freak snow the night before and we wouldn't be able to see the writings. So we walked around just a bit and took in the sights. This is a walking route to.....  more »

  • You can drive an RV or truck with trailer here. Other reviews didn't say whether or not it was possible, so we wanted to clarify for those visiting the area that way. Because of other reviews about having a hard time finding it, we did not follow google maps and instead followed the signs from highway 120. It is pretty well marked and we had no issues finding it. This place is awesome. The visitor center is small, clean, and very informative. Make sure to get a map with the detail of the markers. My kids 9, 6, & 3 all had a great time on the little hike. This should be a must see if you are in the area or even going in, around, or near Cody or Casper. Take highway 120. You won't regret it.
  • The attendant was very helpful and nice to chat with. The petroglyphs were stunning and worth the visit. There is a nice picnic area for eating lunch.
  • Very interesting and amazing. Directions are a bit dicey.
  • Interesting artifacts. Worth the drive to visit.
  • We visited in offseason but still had a great time it was snowing well we looked at the petroglyphs and we had a great time!
