Enjoyed strawberry ice cream (made with strawberries from their farm) while rocking in their huge wooden rocking chairs. It was a pleasant visit. more »
We visit Rock Ranch once every fall with our church Awana group and always enjoy it. There’s a lot of activities, a huge jumping pillow, a corn house, train rides, boat rides, fishing, pony rides, zip lines, rock climbing, corn maze and many others. This place is super nice! There’s also a small store that sells homemade ice cream and other locally grown meats and produce. The strawberry ice cream is delicious! Definitely worth the 1 hour plus drive from Atlanta.
First time there and I was impressed with the grounds. I ordered the chicken wrap. It was ok I could have used more dressing on it for my taste. I really enjoyed the swings that over looking the stream and corn fields. The fresh air and warm fall breeze was all I needed for a quick nap.
My son's class went there on a school trip and despite the blazing sun and an unusually warm weather, the kids had a great time. The first half of the trip was spent on getting a tour of the ranch and stopping at various “stations” for little educational talks. The kids learned about planting seeds, the ecological value of worms, how to milk a cow, and various animals tracks & scat. Of course, the scat was a HUGE hit with all the 5-year-olds. After lunch it was playtime and the kids rolled in a “corn house” (like a ball pit but full of corn kernels), bounced on a massive pillow sort of trampoline, and explored “tiny town.” At the end of the day I joined the kids on the bouncing pillow and got a serious workout (as well as giant blisters on my feet).
So much fun you need multiple days to experience it all. A bit pricey but so fun. My family loved tiny town and the train.
Such a great place. They do so much good. Great place to bring your family.
