  • Great atmosphere. A little pricey once your inside but great atmosphere for kids! Great staff, lots of fun. My church goes every year for the hot air balloon festival.
  • I really had a great time. I enjoyed the ride on the giant tractor trailer the tour guides were very good. I traveled with a senior group and they helped us up and down the stairs.
  • This is our third time to The Rock Ranch, and as always, it's a great family outing. There are lots of things to do to keep your kids busy for hours. You can easily spend eight hours here, and the time will fly before your eyes. This place has a lot of attractions for smaller kids (ages 3-7) so don't plan on bringing your teenagers here unless you want them to be bored out of their minds. While there are a few activities that are geared towards older people (rock climb, zip line, paddle boats)--most of it is geared towards younger kids. What'a awesome: The Rock Ranch is owned by Chick-fil-A, so you can expect great, friendly service from all of the employees and entertainers. There are lots of attractions to keep children engaged and entertained for hours. All of the activities are spread all over the ranch, meaning your kids will get a great workout while also having lots of fun. Almost all of the attractions are included with the ticket--the only exceptions are the carousel and the zip line. You can buy tickets online (and in advance) and enter through a special, speedier line. The ranch is really clean, including the bathrooms. They take credit/debit cards at EVERYWHERE at the ranch so you don't have to bring a bunch of cash with you. What's not so awesome: Expect to pay about $9 per meal and $2.50 for drinks. I thought the food and drink prices would be a little cheaper, but they're kind of pricey. To get into the ranch, you actually take a short tractor ride from the front gate to the ranch itself. The ride isn't bad itself, but if there are a lot of people, you'll have to wait a bit for the next tractor as people are "bused" into the ranch. And you'll take the same tractor ride when leaving the ranch as well. (If you want to walk from the front gates to the ranch, that is an option.) While there are a lot of places to sit, most of them are near food areas. So if you want to watch your kids play on the giant slide or the corn silo, you'll either need to stand or sit on the grass. I wish there was more general-purpose seating around the ranch. Tips: The Rock Ranch is located in the middle of the state. It's Georgia, so it stays hot forever. Wear shorts. Do not wear pants unless it's 60F or below. It's too hot. The number of people I see wearing pants and sweat all over their faces is ridiculous. Wear shorts people! Also, wear SHOES--not sandals, flip-flops, heels, etc. Everything is spread out with some nice hills in between--wear shoes or hiking boots/shoes. Also, if you own a CamelBak, bring it; if you don't already own, one, buy one and bring it with you. You and your kids will get thirsty quickly and drinks are $2.50. Don't bring a stroller if you can avoid it. They're clunky to get on/off the tractor ride and they add unnecessary weight to push around. If your kids can walk, let them walk. 95% of the attractions are outside, so wear sunscreen. All-in-all, it's a great place to bring small kids, and they will have hours of fun.
  • While the kids enjoyed it, with over 30 activities and only a couple have additional costs, the food was overpriced and low quality. They charge $5/Chick Fil A sandwich, and offer other options such as turkey legs, BBQ sandwich, burger, etc. The farm is large and does not feel crowded even when there is a lot of visitors. While most activities are well thought out, there are a few that are there just for quantity and not quality. Worth a 1 time visit.
  • Very fun and very family friendly. Lots to do to keeps the kids entertained for the whole day.
