  • Its a great place for fishing. There is a few bait shops right before you enter the dike that you can get live shrimp, mullet, and croaker at. They also have any supplies, drinks, and snacks you may w...  more »
  • I and my husband go to this place once or twice a month to go fishing and everytime we do, we get to catch only one or two right-size fish. We are just probably unlucky. Lol. I am a person who loves o...  more »
  • Take a calming ride on the dike about once a week. Typically see dolphins at the end of the dike. Dike is not crowded during the week. Usually see three or four ships going to or from Houston. Sunsets...  more »

  • Poor cats that get left there.. But at least they can eat the rats that run around... And under covers should be around to fine the stupid people that litter.
  • Clean and safe place to launch. It can get very crowded. Some people have good boat ramp etiquette, others not so much. Not too shabby for a pub.
  • This is a great place to launch your boat and there are no ramp fees. There are fees to access the dike on the weekends in the summer if you are not a Texas City resident.
  • To reiterate what someone said, bring your own TP. People here are clean for the most part. Not a lot of littering going on. You can find people fishing at 3am, its that great of a place.
  • Good spot for fishing, surfing or boat riding. On some areas in the water there are rocks on the floor, but further down the floor is smooth.
