Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Teton Village

Categories: Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.6/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort offers activities ranging from adventure camps, spa treatments, and hunting, to skiing at some of the most challenging terrains in America. The mountain has the largest continuous rise of any ski area in the United States--over 1,250 vertical m (4,100 ft). In winter, some parts can be accessed only with avalanche safety gear. In summer, you can go hiking, paragliding, rafting, camping, horseback riding, alpine sliding, and much, much more. An aerial tram is available that takes you 3,185 m (10,450 ft) up into the clouds. Alternatively, there are many gondolas and chairlifts. Numerous free activities are available for the children, and for the grownups, restaurants and stores aren't lacking. • I loved the village. It's a high end, classy skiing village. Nice people. The resort has a Four season Hotel, apartments for Rent, restaurants, shops, tram, gondola, lifts, mostly black and blue trail...  read more »
  • All of the restaurants in this neighborhood are good quality . A beautiful escape from reality. I great getaway for my wife and me.
  • If you are planning on taking a large group on a ski adventure, Jackson Hole is a poor option. If your group are expert skiers who demand the toughest terrain and big mountain skiing, it might be wort...  read more »
  • Great fun to be had here. The mountain has a ton of back country and a decent amount of park terrain. There is something for everyone here. The view from the top when you take the air tram is awesome. In the later part of the season the snow in the bottom third of the mountain can get slushy but it's still going to be better than any other place nearby.
  • Beautiful resort with awesome views. We traveled during spring / summer and it was great. For skiing, looks really steep, although the snow must be really dry there. Make sure you take the tram to the top and hike along the trails (there are easy trails with great views).
  • Stayed here during the summer for a wedding. It was wonderful and the service was excellent. Wish there was better transport service between Jackson Hole town and the resort.
  • Plenty of activities for every season. If you're a P2+ paragliding pilot, check out the Jackson hole paragliding club instead of the resort because they charge 90$ just to assess your skills and give you access!! It's ridiculous. The club is reasonable and has more insight into launch sites, LZs, and flying conditions. Do not use the resort for tandems because they charge $270+, call the club instead...or just put the work in and become a pilot yourself
  • Beautiful views, world class snowboarding, endless adventure and adrenaline. Not a place for beginners or kids. My favorite resort.
