  • Stayed at the hotel next door. Unexpectedly discovered the museum with its unheard-of $8.00 admission price. What a deal! My daughter loved the air cannons the most. We'd go to this museum again for s...  more »
  • The grandkids love to go to the children's museum… And we do too. The location is easy to find, parking is accessible, the museum is very clean. The staff are helpful. There is a section for children ...  more »
  • Yes I know the worlds largest children's museum is just down the road in Indy, but some of us can't afford to go there every time the kids want to do something. This museum is just the ticket. Lots of...  more »

  • We came with 4 kids and 4 adults and it was amazing! Even our 1.5 year old had so much fun! The reason we give -1 is because there were a lot of buttons that were not working (for example the sound effects in the racecar) but there were no signs. For the kids it probably doesn't matter, but the adults noticed. Side note: the bathrooms are clean fun. We had a great time!
  • The kids I watch at 14 and 12, and we all have fun at the museum. We went in the early afternoon and didn't have to fight for space to play with the various exhibits. We had the most fun at the water table. The kids said they prefer Terre Haute's Children Museum over the Indianapolis one because there are more things to touch and do, it's never super crowded, busy, or loud, and there's a froyo place next door!
  • This place is amazing for our 3 kiddos (6,4,2). We drive an hour and a half to get here (which there are other children's museums within this driving distance)...but over the past year this one has really stole our heart. The staff is so friendly, kind and courteous and actually interact with the kids (after all it is a children's museum). It's takes us around 3 hours to get through the entire museum (3 stories)...fun, educational and an all around great time for all our kids.
  • Great place for fun and science. Little run down though. Several exhibits were broken and others looked in disrepair.
  • Fun little museum with lots for kids to do. Fun to spend a half a day to a day here. Also, your kids might learn a little too!
