  • We opted to stop in Paso Robles for our wine tasting, after we woke up and saw the news that the Napa area was on fire. This winery was recommended by a shopkeeper in Morro Bay. THis area of Californi...  more »
  • Located in an old schoolhouse, (the owners were former teachers) Peachy Canyon is well known for their Zin, but don't miss their Petite Sirah or one of their blends. Their Chardonnay is nice, unoaked!...  more »
  • One of the better wineries in the area....their Petite Syrah is excellent. We ended up with 2 cases of their wines and we became wine club members again because of their flexibility as far as shipping...  more »

  • Very disappointing experience at this winery. My family and i were very excited to begin our wine tasting journey at this winery for my birthday, but i must say that the level of respect and customer service was horrendous on December 28. We actually had paid for a tasting and decided to walk out because the woman attending us or rather lack there of, was extremely rude. My mother had requested to taste a wine listed on the tasting list but was told "no", followed by "I don't have that open." The woman walked off and no longer engaged us. We were prepared to purchase an ample amount of wine for a family event, but chose not to because of our experience. I'm certain the wine most likely would have been delicious, but the attendant made the experience so unwelcoming that we couldn't even enjoy the tasting we had paid for.
  • I went to Peachy Cannon yesterday as the first stop on a wine circuit that I had planned out for my sisters birthday. We are both local to SLO and haven't had too much experience with wine so we were exited to get to try some local wines and educate ourselves. We arrived and took some great pictures in an over-sized chair the site looked rather nice. It wasn't until we went into the tasting room that the experience went south. I walked in and explained to the attendant that my sister and I would like to do tastings to find out what we like and I placed my I.D and the cash for the tasting fees on the counter. I got a very smug look from the attendant and the way we were treated was very catty and unfriendly. I guess she had assumed we planned on not making any purchases that day and decided we weren't worth the effort of good customer service. I tried a few wines and headed on to the next stop on our circuit. The rest of our experiences were amazing compared to this stop. Check out my other reviews I will be posting later this week for my recommendations in places to stop.
  • Stopped in on a whim and enjoyed the wine and a chat with the staff. Really loved the wine, and will be sure to recommend the tasting room to our friends.
  • My wife and I came here with grape line wine tours. We really liked this place. Great selection of wines. The sitting area is very nice for a picnic.
  • Staff has bad attitude towards people who don't buy. Their best wines are available locally in most liquor stores and trader joe's for a lot less. Be advised, this is not the Vineyard, they built this tasting room on the highway because they are so far off the beaten path. Keep going, anything else is better.
