  • Not terribly exciting but nice. My kids enjoyed the walk across the bridge. Nice walking place. Mellow place.
  • My friend and I met for a stroll along the river on a lovely day. This is a very nice park. I am looking forward to bringing my grandchildren to go out on the water in a paddle boat soon.
  • This is a nice park that borders Tempe Town Lake. Lots of space to walk, run, ride your bike and soak up the atmosphere. The one clarification is, it is NOT a beach where you can actually jump in the ...  more »

  • We like this park and the beautiful walkway along the water. It is well maintained and you can walk quite a ways along the water. If you wish you can rent a boat. There is a nice splash park there also which is currently being redone for next season. Nice picnic areas and restrooms also.
  • I came here to hunt Pokemon, but I've also been here for Oktoberfest. Its a nice park, with bathrooms, a kids playground (Currently under construction) and nice views of Tempe Town Lake. A good place for a picnic or just a nice walk around the lake.
  • Really great to play Pokemon Go because most of the Pokestops are all in a single line so you can reach them all quickly and efficiently, instead of having to wander aimlessly throughout a park Generally see people renting boats or doing like team boat events? Mostly college students playing Pokemon Go. See runners, skateboarders, bicyclists, people walking dogs Section to BBQ Nice scenic view, though under a highway, the train, and the light rail, if pollution/traffic sounds bother anyone. Near the light trail though for easy accessibility for anyone needing public transit, and near Mill Ave, so plenty in the area to do
  • There is nothing else like it in the Phoenix area. Great for exercise, family time, events, or just peaceful time. It's definitely man made and you feel it but it's grand and bright and stunning. Lots of people frequent the area so don't expect privacy per se, but you probably won't be bothered by anyone. In a way the park is a hub of Tempe outdoor activity. I wish I made time to be there more often.
  • This place always has the cutest puppies. Also, a great splash pad for kids but as of this review it's under construction and has been for quite a while.
