  • So much to do here, or simply have a stroll through it. Water fountains throughout, clean park, fresh breeze coming off the lake - a very pleasant morning walk!!  more »
  • A pleasant surprise to find this huge green multipurpose area amidst many housing and commercial areas. Great for walks, fishing, picnic and exercise. Very quiet in the morning for meditation too.  more »
  • I love this park. It's very big with lots of space, soccer fields, baseball fields, and multiple sand volleyball courts. The wave pool is good, especially in the summer. The kids play area is very nice. There are lots of ramadas, and a big lake you can fish in or ride paddle boats in. There's also an indoor volleyball court and lots of leagues both sand and indoor play there. The City of Tempe did a wonderful job with this park.
  • Big ass park. I got a sunburn. There was a bike in the lake. Cool children park, some homeless people bathe in the fountain on occasion. Cant blame them. I would also bathe there. There are also volleyball courts.
  • This is such a large and versatile park; I love it! There is so much to do here! The lake is my favorite spot. You can watch the turtles sunbathe, the ducks swim, the hawk hunt or just people watch! The rest of the park has a ton of paved and gravel walking trails. There is are multiple playgrounds and plenty of picnic tables. Don't forget all the different sports fields! You can play volleyball, tennis, baseball/softball, football or soccer!
  • Nice facility, including lots of outdoor park space for basketball, sand volleyball, baseball/softball. Picnic tables with shade structures. Really nice pond areas. Pay to use the indoor facility, which includes 2 full basketball courts (check schedule to make sure it's available for your visit) and an indoor pool. Well maintained.
  • Tempe is awesome. Kiwanis is one is many places that makes it so. If fish won't bite in the lake, try the canal just over the hill. Good place to walk your dog, has water fountains just for them. Events every weekend (super crowded on Saturdays).
