  • Climb of a quarter of an hour, but do this in the morning hours because the temperature quite high. On top of a nice view over the whole area.

  • My 6 yr old said this was the best thing we did in Tempe. She made us walk up A mtn every morning. Great quick way to burn some calories and the view is amazing.

  • This is great, 'A' mountain is a classic Tempe landmark with a moderate hike to the top. Wonderful view at the top, definitely worth a visit and if you're a little adventurous and 420 friendly there is a secret spot or two hidden up there (;
  • Great hike with views of Tempe and PHX takeoffs and landing. Sunset is gorgeous from up here
  • Short steep hike to the top of a rock hill (so called "A" Mountain). Interesting place to watch the air traffic come into Sky Harbor International as the jets pass pretty close. Good views of Tempe. Very popular.
  • Quite a good hike, beautiful city views from the top!
  • Very nice place to go if you like the outdoors and great views. The climb is all not that difficult, it's very clean and safe for the whole family. Be sure to bring water on your hikes because it does get hot.
