Where to stay in Temecula

You have two main options for accommodations in Temecula. The cluster of lodgings around Old Town features a mix of locally owned and national chain hotels and motels. Near the vineyards east of the city, you'll find bed and breakfasts, inns, and vacation rentals in houses and condominiums. If you’re visiting strictly for the wine, try to book one of these places.

  • Very friendly with a lovely outside porch. The wines here are very good. Small winery with a great atmosphere  more »
  • We were referred to this winery and weren't disappointed. Their Syrah was exceptional and Amy (who poured) was most helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit when visiting the area!  more »
  • We researched small family-run wineries for our tasting and are glad we found this one. One of the furthest from downtown Temecula, seek it out if you like good reds, a nice patio overlooking vineyard...  more »

  • Love this place. Great out door area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. Wine members get free tastings or a glass of wine a couple times a month. If you bring a friend (as a member) your friends tasting is only $10! The Monti is my favorite but you do have to pay for the glass even as a member.
  • I have enjoyed every single wine I have tasted there. Great atmosphere, great service, very knowledgeable about their wines, and if you like reds this is your place.
  • Steve Chapin is a fabulous winemaker. He has worked very hard at building his business from scratch. There is a lovely patio to sit on and sip wine, with soft music and genial staff serving. This is my favorite winery in Temecula.
  • What an amazing experience. We had a party of 30, most wineries do not look kindly to a group this large, however the gang at Chapin were more than happy to accommodate us. The patio area overlooking the vineyard was a perfect setting for great friends, family and wine! Thank you Chapin Family for a Memorable and Really FUN Fabulous at 50 party!! Cheers Sunnie Kopchick
  • Brent was crazy cool and super helpful. The wines here rock. Better than the 2x priced stuff next door. Summit and Montepulciano were super dry and bombtacular. Awesome smaller spot. I'll be back.
