Where to stay in Temecula

You have two main options for accommodations in Temecula. The cluster of lodgings around Old Town features a mix of locally owned and national chain hotels and motels. Near the vineyards east of the city, you'll find bed and breakfasts, inns, and vacation rentals in houses and condominiums. If you’re visiting strictly for the wine, try to book one of these places.

  • One of the two wineries visited in Temecula. Stunning views from the top of the hill and great tasting wines. Great knowledge from their friendly staff too, in particular Monica!  more »

  • Great venue with great views in a central location - I could see this as a great space for a wedding or special event. Unfortunately, the wines were mediocre at best, and the staff seemed less engaged than other wineries.
  • Delicious wine and food.. Beautiful views and wonderful staff. Prices are very reasonable . Recommend the Estate Selection Merlot for a special treat.
  • Won't be back. Waiter was excellent and that's the best part of the place. Lunch was pricey...$18 for a tapas-sized portion. Seafood ceviche serving was half the size of a can of tuna and not as good...flavors were poorly balanced and tasted like I was drinking straight lime juice. Ginger lemonade sounded interesting....trust me, don't order it. Asked our waiter to check on the winery tour times (same location, but not sure if the winery owns both or if the restaurant is leased out). Waiter came back to tell us no more tours were scheduled (this is a Sunday), but the tour desk said just come over after lunch and they'd be happy to show us around. We paid the bill and went right across the lot (about 2:30) from the restaurant to the winery. The guy in the winery with the nose piercing couldn't have been less interested. He said the tours were done at 1:00. I mentioned that we had just eaten in their restaurant and they'd just checked, but he couldn't be less interested and said "Nope". I'd have understood if the waiter had been told "No" or if we dawdled and showed up an hour later. We weren't looking for a private tour. We had no idea they were done at 1:00. Besides, aren't the tours meant to boost interest and get you to try a tasting? They won't lose sleep over my review, but there are lots of wineries over there...right next door, across the street and 5 minutes down the same road.
  • First, the location and winery are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the wines tasted more like vinegar than wine. Between myself and my girlfriend we tried 12 different wines, and liked exactly zero of them. The only reason the rating is not lower is because, as I previously stated, is the view and outdoor areas are really, really nice.
  • The views are amazing, beautiful and never ending. Food selection is ok. I had the cevechi and my mom a salad, both were good. Wine is good. Dessert was to die for. I'll go back for that. #Clydeafornia
