This place has many ball fields both soccer and baseball and softball. The facilities are nice with restroom facilities. There is a nice small pond to walk around with many ducks and geese that you can see. They have a good sized playground appropriate for all ages of kids. They have a good walking track that goes around most of the park. We go here probably once a month or so when it is nice out.
The fishing is good, at least for my son. The lake is beautiful. If you're interested in a walk, jog, or bike ride, the path around the lake is great and scenic. Or you can use the paths around the picnic area behind the lake. There are many things to see and do.
The playground is fabulous. It was very muddy on our first trip, but they have since laid new mulch. Great place for a picnic. Lots of paved trails for walking and biking.
This is a great place to go for a walk. Excellent walking/running track. Never busy when I'm there between 11:40-2:30
Taylor Conservatory art and music in the park is very cool! Free parking, great live jazz, easy listening or similar music, tasty mini pies (try the all- butter chess!), hand made ice cream, ever- changing food options from the creative Bierkeller folks...all in a very cool outdoor setting!
