  • This bridge is over 60 and was built for 50 years of service and carries more cars to and fro than it was intended to. I had previously been scared out of my wits by gapping holes and the like so it g...  more »

  • I enjoy the view and driving so low near the water on this old bridge. The new ones a little higher. They are using the same design state wide for all bridges lately. You see 2 or 3 new bridges in nyc with the same design. The chopstick style bridge. I rarely pass by during rush hours so i dont known about the traffic. I doubt this bridge will solve any traffic because the road on either side is still the same width. It would only push the traffic somewhere else. I do like the new bridge with observation walk path. Cant wait that the new bridge is finish
  • Wonderful and beautiful bridge, amazing views, only it is getting old and unsafe.
  • One of my favorite bridges to cross because of the views of the Hudson Valley. The tolls are a little expensive though.
  • I travelled across the bridge two weeks ago to see the heavy lift crane put a girder in place ---most impressive. It reminded me of the construction The new Bay Bridge between Oakland and San Francisco, Ca. Another impressive feat!!! Go Bridge!!!
  • Very bumpy. Toll cashier was very rude. Glad they did away with them. Traffic was a bit slow and a guy in a Nissan cut me off. Wouldn't recommend this bridge based on this experience. Hopefully management will address these issues.
