  • Currently building new bridge so views were not as nice as usual. Always easier to take Tappan Zee Bridge as opposed to traveling through NYC.
  • It is well worthwhile to observe the construction of the new bridge from the observation platforms and walks on the Tarrytown side of the Hudson River north of the bridge. Educational guide posts and ...  read more »
  • The Tappan Zee is a great choice for getting into White Plains or Yonkers NY. The George Washington Bridge is $15. I don't remember the Tappan Zee having any tolls.
  • I enjoy the view and driving so low near the water on this old bridge. The new ones a little higher. They are using the same design state wide for all bridges lately. You see 2 or 3 new bridges in nyc with the same design. The chopstick style bridge. I rarely pass by during rush hours so i dont known about the traffic. I doubt this bridge will solve any traffic because the road on either side is still the same width. It would only push the traffic somewhere else. I do like the new bridge with observation walk path. Cant wait that the new bridge is finish
  • This is the easiest Bridge in the whole state with as much money as they collect in toll for all toll roads and bridges newyork is a complete mess there roads are so bad it makes you really wonder what they do with the 5 million a day that comes in from tolls they need an audit someone stealing money cause every street in newyork should be perfect.they cause more damage to vehicles than any other state in the United states we do need an audit bad.there bringing in 5 million a day × 7 days you figure it out something just not right ask yourself were all that money.
  • Terrible bridge! Tons of pot holes on the side of the lanes, I felt like I was going to blow my tires. And it costs $13 to cross!
  • This was the only "toll" Google maps couldn't get me around during my move from Alabama to Massachusetts...and I guess since I was driving a uhaul and towing a dolly carrying my car, I paid about $26.00 bucks!... Plus it was friggin' dark, so I didn't even get to see how old the bridge was or enjoy the view that people are mentioning!!!
  • Hopefully they clear out that crane out of the way so that the bridge runs normal. A good alternate to the GWB if traffic is backed up along the hudson.
