  • We enjoyed our time at the Castle Winery. Joe had some great jokes and the wine was very good. Follow the directions on the Groupon and everything will be just fine. The poor reviews are mostly a result of people showing up at the winery without an appointment. An older couple live and work on site and probably have unannounced drop-ins often. We enjoyed the tasting and bought some wines that we liked a lot.
  • Every wine I purchased from them try o my taste was great. Would go again for sure.
  • WHAT A JOKE! We purchased a Living Social deal for 4 people at this place. Paid $38.99 (regular price $222.11!). Supposed to include wine tasting for 4, crystal wine glasses and full glass of wine for each person, 2 sangria kits and a wine education lecture. We got 1 sip of 5 different wines, a glass of wine, 1 Sangria kit and the glasses WERE NOT crystal!!! I have traveled all over the world and been to countless wineries and never been ripped off so badly. When we questioned the price, the owner turned from Mrs. Santa Claus to Linda Blair in the Exorcist. Embarrassed us in front of other customers. Horrible experience and the wines sucked too. The Sangria kit that you get is not even made by them and can be purchased on line elsewhere for $4.95. AVOID THIS PLACE!
  • I wish there was a zero star option because they don't deserve even the one star. They were rude and the customer service or lack there of was horrendous! I called the number they listed and a lady answered with a person's name instead of saying the winery's name so I asked is this the winery and the lady said "yes! do you have a groupon??" I said no I'm trying to find out how late you're open then she rudely said hold on and was yelling at someone to "take this call this lady is asking about 20 questions!" So an elderly sounding man took the phone and said "can I help you?" And I said I was just wondering how late you're open and he said 'Do you have a Groupon?" And I said no! I just wanted to see if you were open today and how late? He said we work on appointment only. I said oh, well I called the number listed and the woman didn't answer with the winery name and I heard her tell you I had about 20 questions when I only had one, and the customer service was very rude. He began yelling that they've been there 17 years and they do just fine. So I hung up. I will never go there and will tell anyone and everyone how they treat potential customers and refer them to Florida Orange Groves Winery instead.
  • Used a Groupon for the afternoon winetasting and I must say it didn't disappoint. The wine was traditional but the people doing the winetasting were absolutely amazing.
