Where to stay in Tarpon Springs

Hotels and motels reflect the 1950s fashion of two-story complexes with long balconies. Almost every hotel offers a gated pool area to help beat the Florida heat. A handful of early 20th-century homes have been converted to bed and breakfasts that embody the character of the town.

  • Great park for walking, some shaded trail area by the water. Dog park & pet friendly! Several shelters for picnics with beautiful views of the water. Nice boat ramp. We saw baby alligators in the lake right up by the trail deck, that was a neat thing to see. Several parking lots. There is a beautiful path walk along the water where my best friend & I enjoy walking.
  • Very cool park, that has many tables lakeside to sit with your group and grill up a meal on their charcoal grilles. We enjoyed the views on the walking trails there and got to see many alligators in the lake near the safe picnic table areas.
  • Great park. Clean and well maintained. Boat ramp to huge lake. Playground, grills and shelters. Everything you need. Dog friendly.
  • Small compared to the other park on lake tarpon, but beautiful nonetheless. MUCH better fishing access here than there is at john chestnut park
  • Got married here last Saturday. Beautiful weather, beautiful view of the lake. Very nice Pavilion with neat tiled floor-not just plain concrete. Wonderful, happy day 😁😊🤗
