  • You like history of Coal Mining, you'll like the Museum and coal ride into the coal caves🚧🚧
  • Had a wonderful time visiting. The two gentlemen running the place were very informative and engaging. We arrived on a Saturday around 11:30am and found it surprisingly relaxing. They can take 25 people at a time down into the mine. If you miss the ride down, you'll have to wait until they're done. Call an hour or two ahead to get a rough estimate of a good time to arrive. They have a huge selection of antiques and memorabilia from the area that kept us busy. My wife and I enjoyed learning a little history on mining, improvements that have been made, and the chance to see some of the more modern equipment in use. We were there for approximately 1.5 hours and spent ~$20. Something fun and engaging for people of all ages.
