  • Poorly displayed and very dusty. It was too hard to figure out which objects related to Governor Bent. 
  • This sloppily arranged museum was a crammed mismatch of old stuff, some of it worth seeing if it were to be better organized and labeled. We have shopped at thrift shops that are more orderly. Not wor...  more »
  • Governor Bent was killed and scalped here in the Taos Pueblo Revolt. There are period artifacts, newspaper articles, family pictures such. Admission is $3. I was there as Charles Bent was the brother ...  more »

  • It's small, and there aren't a lot of labels. I wouldn't make it the first place you visit to learn local history, but it's interesting nonetheless.
