  • Based on the wording, I seem to be written something in german to Ronald Reagan's birthplace of the first. You would expect nothing dazzling here, it is all the more compelling for the fan. Ronald Reagan was born more than 102 years after Abraham Lincoln and yet the life beginning of the two Presidents hardly differs. Modest conditions of the Midwest that have shaped both men. Very good is the most modern Midwest, where the 20th century to Reagan's birth is still not really started. Tampico is a sleepy village otherwise, but the feeling making so big and especially America is there in a special way to access.

  • What a very awesome display for anyone who is a Ronald Reagan fan. (and even if you were not a fan, as he was once a Democrat too) They have an incredible collection of Reagan artifacts, and you can tell the town is very proud of him. Both the apartment and the bank downstairs have been skillfully restored, and the volunteer staff is extremely knowledgeable. I ended up seeing the sign on the freeway on my way from Colorado to Wisconsin, and so I planned extra time to stop on the way back. I'm glad I did. My dad and I both had a great time, and hopefully we will be back again in the future. I highly recommend stopping.
  • Small little town with several points of interest related to former President Ronald Reagan. The tour guide was absolutely a pleasure to talk to and knew so much about the history of the town and Ronald Reagan's life.
  • Tampico (President Reagan's Birthplace) is a typical nice quiet little town. The location of his birth is now a local museum curated by local residents. Considering the small budget, they have collected a lot of interesting Reagan family documents and pictures. The home and downstairs (previous bank) have been restored nicely. Even though President Reagan only lived there 3 years, the town is very proud of his legacy. If you are a Reagan fan, it is worth the trip to see.
