  • Great place to go to for an interesting Sunday morning brunch. See a Buddhist temple, have noodle soup and other asian foods, and shop an orchid market. Nice peaceful setting.
  • Must go between 10 am and noon on a Sunday for the best Thai food in the area. Volunteers cook and serve Thai delicasies for a moderate price. You go through a line and make your selections. They are ...  more »
  • I always enjoy coming to the Temple on Sundays. There is a peace and tranquility here. In addition, their Sunday food market is amazing and always a great treat.

  • If you want to wait 45 minutes in line for soup then this is the place. One skewer of pork will run you $3 and 3 barbecue chicken wings are $5 which was gross, by the way. It was nice years back, but word got around and it is so very pack. Recommend you go there early because they run out of certain food by 11:00 a.m. They ran out of ThaiTea today. People serving food work quickly, so they don't smile. Plus side you can bring your dog in the picnic area and it is next to the water. You have to have patient there because you will be in line for everything except the Soda/water station.
  • Nice and friendly place of worship. If interested in learning Thai culture, this temple would be a good start. As other reviewers mentioned, best time to get some food here on Sunday's is to get there early by 9:30AM.
  • I love Monk Sergio Adam. He is respectful and considerate. Thank God for him! keOki
  • This is an awesome place with great food and beautiful river view. At times peaceful and tranquil depending on the day. Recommend to come earlier to enjoy some Thai food in the morning.
  • If you've ever been to Bangkok -- and even if you haven't -- you'll recognize the Sunday morning market here as an authentic neighborhood food market picked up from Thailand and plopped down in (of all places) Tampa, Florida. The riverside location can fool you into thinking you're on the banks of the Chao Praya, especially since the Thai-native locals are preparing street food and entrees exactly as they would prepare them on the streets of the Big Mango. Prices are low enough to reward broad grazing here, so buy a little bit of this and a little bit of that and enjoy. Tip: start nervous eaters with something simple -- Thai iced coffee or a noodle dish.
