Lettuce Lake Regional Park, Tampa
Categories: Nature & Parks
Explore a variety of ecosystems at Lettuce Lake Regional Park. See wetlands with alligators, oak forests, cypress trees, and floodplains as you walk on the more than 1,067 m (3,500 ft) boardwalk. From the boardwalk, make your way to the observation tower for a view of the entire park. From here, you can spot the open field with picnic tables, barbecue pits, and plenty of space to play sports. You also can view the natural surroundings from the water in a rented kayak or canoe. Wear comfortable shoes and light clothing to beat the heat, and remember to bring drinking water.
