  • Laze around small beach. Mainly for barbacues. No waves in this bay area sea. Excellent views of landing aircrafts.
  • Actually for those days available, and the coolest attractions of Tampa, a small beach, has a playground for children, even for fishing, it's pretty nice.

  • My daughters and I visited Cypress Point while in Tampa. Nice small beach area for swimming, playing or relaxing. Covered picnic shelters available. Clean rest rooms.
  • Great local bay beach off the beaten path and with a little something for everyone. The beach area has community charcoal/wood grills, covered pavilions and lots of picnic tables, clean restrooms with showers, frisbee golf course, and a children's playground. For those playing, there are a good number of Pokestops and a few gyms and the area attracts rare Pokemon on a very regular basis.
  • Okay so I have mixed emotions here. I love this park! The location is fantastic. The view over the bay is majestic. You can watch the sunset which is one of the very few places in Tampa where you can watch the sunset over the water. However a lot of the visitors to this place seem to leave garbage act in ways that probably won't be conducive to a sentimental party or something that you may have here. I would and do avoid this place during peak hours and concentrate on X where the Normal public won't overrun the joint. Another awesome aspect of this park is that it's right at the beginning of the bike and running trail over the Courtney Campbell Causeway. So a lot of cyclists and runners will come park at here and then go work out. I highly suggest this.
  • This beach is great for only one reason. If you live in the Tampa Bay area you don't have to drive an hour away to enjoy the beach. This isn't the greatest beach in Florida tho. The water is brown and yucky looking. The beach also gets pretty crowded so it's hard to find a place to settle without being right next to people. A cool thing os that you can see airplanes fly right over the beach because it's close to the Tampa International Airport.
  • Good clean park. Nice place to go for a walk. Always lots of pokemon go players around lol.
  • Good Pokémon. Caught a Gyarados off the shore while a lure was up. Team Mystic owns this hunting ground!
