Both a theme park and a zoo, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay offers a mixture of roller-coaster rides, live shows, dining, shopping, and interactive activities with animals. Opened in 1959 with an African theme, the park now shelters nearly 12,000 animals, spread over 130 hectares (330 acres). You can choose to be an animal keeper for a day or take guided, behind-the-scenes tours of the animal care center, where you can learn how the park's veterinary staff cares for the zoo's residents. The theme park also offers ziplines and water rides. Take advantage of considerable savings by booking your tickets online, and choose from a range of dining and park experiences. We loved the rides. It was hot out there but not crowded. They should definitely put up spritzers to help people cool down as they are traveling. Shaded spaces were hard to find.

Good time was had. Fast pass well worth the extra money. A few rides closed for maintenance which was disappointing

My how this park has grown since the last time I came to visit! It was so much fun! Much better with the quick queue tickets though. They are definitely worth purchasing to ride these awesome rides. They are so cool you don't even care where you sit! You can enjoy from any seat! The Tigris and Cheetah Hunt were so dope!!! They closed the other ride I wanted to do for the fireworks and we didn't want to wait and come back so we just rode out on the other fun rides. The fireworks are a nice touch and the kids loved the sesame street area. We definitely are making plans to head back!!

This park is amazing. Staff is very friendly on gate areas and kiosks. Wait times for rides are short without the need of fast passes. The theme of the park is very entertaining for both kids and adults. Rides are awesome, although some were under maintenance, but most have modified seats (for larger guests). Restaurants are clean and the food is delicious and varied. Live shows are astounding with lots of excitements. Bathrooms could use some improvements, but overall it was a very gratifying experience.

We went Sun evening and Mon. We had a wonderful time! Had no problems getting in the park or waiting on rides. The smokehouse food was excellent. One of the cafe we had to wait about 45 min for food and drinks. Had dinner at the pizza place was good. Fireworks sun night were very good. Loved seeing the animals especially the giraffes.

11/07/20. Purchased 5 tickets, 2 meal passes, parking, & made reservations online. Cost: $700. The capacity was @ 75%. Several rides were closed. We stood in line 1-2hrs per ride. Guess how many rides we were able to go on. 4... in 8hrs. We didn’t even have time to cover the whole park... in 8hrs. Restaurants & street vendors started closing @ 5pm although the park didn't close until 6pm. I still can’t believe we spent that much money for this experience. I rated 2 stars because the roller coasters we were able to ride were so good. Not for $700, though.

You cannot beat the bank the buck. Best roller coasters in the Southeast, very little wait times, great employees. So many roller coasters that no line is too long. Some of the newer ones that came out, are incredible. Love this place, would go there over Disney a hundred times over. Wish I had more free time.
