  • Nice museam, but could be better. First signage is not visible and made it very hard to find the entrance. Put signs up. We had two groups ask my group where they could find the entrance. Second, I re...  more »

  • Such great history on this ship. I feel good donating to help fix it up, and love that all the work is done by volunteers. We did a photo shoot onboard with special permission, it made a great backdrop.
  • I took a self guided tour and had the entire ship to myself! What a cool experience! The big band music over the intercom was super cool. If you are in the area it is the best $10 you can spend!
  • I really enjoyed my visit. There are a lot of nice displays and other information throughout the ship. I gained a greater appreciation for the men and women who served our country during and after World War II. The 1950s music playing softly over the sound system was a nice touch. I found myself wondering about all of the people that lived and worked on the ship through the years, and all of the places that it had been. My time here was time well spent. I highly recommend it.
  • Hidden Gem is a very overused cliche, this attraction however definitely earns that title. Tucked away behind the aquarium, this WWII ship offers something for everyone. It is still a working ship so you get to see the ship how it would have been in operation. The vast majority of the ship is open to walk around and there is a small exhibit on the merchant navy. Suitable for kids and seniors (and everyone in-between). I preferred this to the overpriced aquarium, but i'm a history buff!
  • A beautiful ship and a great history behind her. Have people at some post that can any questions you had about the ship. A great experience for kids and adults. Would recommend it.
