  • This is a wonderful, state of the art facility in a beautiful location. This is a wonderful Hockey arena and the acoustics and seating is fantastic for large concert venues!
  • A very nice arena, with good views even if seated high up against the roof. Good hockey, good entertainment but not the wildest of audiences. Extremely expensive by my standards. 6$ for some popcorn, ...  more »
  • The game was really awesome and also to see an NHL Game live was really exciting! But as we wanted to enjoy the game with a beer, we were disappointed, as you can only purchase a beer if you bring you...  more »

  • Great venue. The facility is very clean, signs are clearly marked. The ushers are AMAZING!! All the Amalie Arena staff are incredibly helpful and there is always at least one in sight. My ONLY complaint is the size of the seats. The average size American woman is between a 16-18 and men's pants are averaging 40 inches. The seats at Amalie are very small, making it difficult to fully enjoy the event.
  • Review of The Beach: What an awesome event! And it was completely free! Huge thanks to the Vinik Foundation for bringing this amazing experience to Tampa! I didn't expect to have so much fun in a ball pit... nor did I expect it to be so physically challenging! The first time I fell, I needed help to get back up, and just walking through the balls was hard! The *shore* with lounge chairs & umbrellas was a nice way to catch my breath. Due to my kids' work & college schedules, Sunday was really the best day for us to go together. I ordered our free tickets online several weeks before the multi-week event began, and 5pm 8/21 was the only slot still available for a group of 6... That's how popular this event was, sight unseen! Once I realized The Beach Tampa would be closing at 6pm on Sundays, I was concerned our time would be limited. However, worrying was not necessary. At the entrance outside, we queued up to enter precisely at our ticketed time. Then inside, we waited again as staff monitored the number of people inside the actual *beach* area for safety and enjoyment, allowing people to enter as others left. The line moved quickly at this point, but we still weren't able to go in until after 5:30. Luckily, staff had already announced to everyone that even the very last person to enter would get a minimum of 45 minutes to enjoy The Beach. I really hope The Beach returns to Tampa!
  • Slowly working my way through my hockey team bucket list of seeing every team play on their home ice. Parking is ample, staff very friendly and helpful. Seats in 330 were comfy and have great view of hockey game. Of course food and shopping at team store are expensive but we ate before game and it was fine. Bolts fans were awesome.
  • Went to the opening night of Lightning hockey. Great venue, great team, great owner, spent $140 for 5 drinks and 2 hamburgers. I knew the drinks were $20 a piece, but they weren't worth $5 a piece. Paid $24 for two kiddie burgers at Outback and they were terrible. Overpriced? You bet! Value for my dollars.......NOPE! I love the Lightning, I will eat and drink before I go!
  • An amazing space in downtown Tampa. Really spacious and I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. I enjoy it every time I visit.
