If you get a pass for the season, this is a great deal! Gets very busy during the summer so your best bet is first thing in the morning. The slides are fun and there's something for everyone. Plenty o... read more »
There were plenty of things for smaller children. There's little direction on how to get the tubes for the rides. Bathrooms could use a little more attention. Life guards were spot on! Expected more r... read more »
This is a fun park even for us who are older and like just the lazy river, the wave pool & the wading pool & can't do dives or slides. For families, it is excellent. The food served is good, but we wi... read more »
Purchased the weekday pass while on vacation. We went twice and had a blast. All rides were up and running and the waits weren't bad. We didn't have any troubles and the life guards seem to have fun with guests throughout the day. Some rides did seem like they needed more rafts to make rides move a little faster. Overall very impressed with this park as it was our first time visiting. If we are down in this area, we will definitely visit again.
Loved the lazy river. Was a great play to visit with the kids. Wish the water was a little cooler to help with the summer heat. If you need a quick cool off try the kiddy pools.
Went on a Friday and it was very busy - too busy to really appreciate the rides. The Staff did not seem to care if the lines are too long. The food service is to slow, the entire staff at Mango Joe's and Surfside Café looked bored and disgruntled. They seem like they did want to work. We had the All Day Dining Deal for this park, it's not worth it. The food is fried and two choice of Salad and Pizza. If you want healthy food you need to buy it. Park does not accommodate for food Allergies. We won't be back.
Clean , crowded but that was expected. Lines were long and the lazy river was not so lazy with all the kids horsing around. Even had a kid swim up under us. Almost fliped the raft. Overall the kuds had a good time. Oh if you go around lunch time don't expect to find a place to sit.
Understanding it is summer time in the hot Florida sun ,a water park will be packed!.. Even more on a weekend (Sunday) .. I have not been to Adventure Island in years ! It was nice to see they updated the park with newer water rides but the only down fall I have to say was not enough tubes in the lazy river for how many 100+ plus guest where at the water park that day. The weather was not so great that day a few clouds and some rain, so the water rides where shut down for the rest of time , was not able to enjoy any of the rides . I would suggest to come during the week when not so packed ! and to look at the forecast for clear blue sunny skys . One thing I would like to add would be the ticket process.. BUY TICKETS IN ADVANCE ! the rep was very friendly but had to wait in line for almost an hour! the best part is that if you buy the fun card you can come back all year and dont have stand in the ticket line all over again ha ha.. I would say they only thing this park needs to approve on is the the amount of customer in the park at once but you do have Busch gardens right by to make it even a better bonus about this park :)
