  • Absolutely worth a quick (or longer) visit for the lovely landscaping and attractive walkways. We visited early evening (free parking after 6pm), so many facilities closed, but it didn't matter. Happy...  more »

  • This park is an amazing achievement for the City, especially when you consider that it was a toxic site for decades. It's now, in my opinion, the anchor in Tallahassee's impressive collection of parks...  more »

  • Wonderful park in the downtown. Beautifully landscaped, with something to experience for all ages. Kudos to the city for making great use of incorporating this beautiful facility around the natural flood plain. It would be five stars for me, if there were more shaded area. Given time, the young trees will eventually provide more throughout the park. Fantastic place to bring the kids!
  • One of the nicest downtown public parks I have ever visited. There is something for everyone: walking/running/biking trails, an amphitheater, kids play areas, and lots if open space. The landscaping is beautiful and immaculately maintained. I was really moved by the Korean War Memorial.
  • This park is a great example of how we can incorporate environmental friendly areas that are also fun for all. When first coming to this park I notice the modern look and cleanness. The first thing I laid eyes on was the amphitheater, which was built on a hill with a large stage under a white cover at the front; though it seems to not seat many it is a great sight. There is a playground area near the amphitheater which things that you would not expect at a normal play area. There is a slide, water table contraption, a sand box, and some wooden posts that kids were climbing on. The water table caught my attention because it was like a stair case of platforms that kids could manipulate and eventually lead the water to the flowers on the ground; kids were having fun while watering the plants. There were many sidewalks that made up many trails throughout the park. I went on a sidewalk route which took me by signs that told me all about the history of Tallahassee. I liked how educational this park was and how it was not just about fun but rather about showcasing the beautiful things in Tallahassee as well as the past of the city. I also saw a water pad for kids to play on, but at certain times the water pad turns into a fountain show. The fountain show was a cool addition to the park and I feel like it was really thought out. The park is an area that was made to flood if there is a huge rain storm. The park is basically a giant holding pond that they made into a beautiful park. Because of the many things to do here and the beauty of it I will be going back to this park.
  • I love this place. One of the best places to go in Tallahassee. There's something for everyone with all the events going on there every weekend. Beautiful park and lots of parking.
  • I love this park! Amenities for kids such as play ground and splash pad. Luckily there are water fountains and the restrooms are usually clean. Also a cool venue for events and shows, not to mention the grass areas and sidewalks to walk or run on. So beautiful!
