Talladega Superspeedway, formerly known as Alabama International Motor Speedway, is a motorsports complex located north of Talladega, Alabama. It is located on the former Anniston Air Force Base in the small city of Lincoln. A tri-oval, the track was constructed in 1969 by the International Speedway Corporation, a business controlled by the France Family. • The night before the race is like a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, Drinking and drinking, nude women, and everything else you can think of at the track, so don't bring the kids. But for adults, well, ...  more »
  • Having previously visited Charlotte and Daytona, we were disappointed in the Speedway tour. Maybe a 30 or 40 minute tour in a van. No opportunities to get out of the van to take photos. But impressive...  more »
  • We took the bus tour of the speedway, which was very interesting. The only drawback is that you're not allowed out of the bus - would have been nice to walk up in the stands or of course to try to sca...  more »

  • How could you not, the infield is the place to be. Best views, best party, awesome racing&beautiful blue skies! One new thing though I don't think they should make you pay more to buy a pass to drive out and re-enter the infield when you already have a spot. You've already paid, that's not right.
  • So lucky to have this facility close to me. If you have never saw a race in person at Talladega, add it to your bucket list!! Great facility ran by a wonderful crew!!
  • What a great place!! Fun for everyone! I love that you can come for the races or stay in tents or an RV!! HOT showers, clean restrooms, security, trams to carry you around! One of the best experiences ever! Can't wait to go back!!
  • Great racetrack, plenty of parking spaces, friendly people. Awesome audio, no need to rent headphones. Love this track
  • The tour was a little disappointing that it was difficult to take pictures inside the tour bus & driver couldn't stop. Other track tours allow you to get out at Victory Lane but this one, we couldn't even see out windows very well, nor didn't drive onto track. Giving 4 stars because the track is amazing to see up close.
