Tahoe Treetop Adventure Parks reviews
i loved that this was a self guided and paced experience. after a tutorial how to wear your harness, dos and don’ts, safety info, etc…you’re left to your own to explore the grounds. the crew is never.... more »
I brought my 5 year old for his first ever treetop adventure. It was the highlight of our trip. The staff was both very capable and good at engaging with kids. We loved every minute. My son got... more »
We had such a great time. I would highly recommend going in the morning since as when we were finishing up our time there were lines forming in the courses. We did not take our children this time but.... more »
Great overall experience! Excellent for beginners and intermediates. They have a really good setup that started with a review of the safety and ground rules. My son and I started out with the beginner courses and quickly moved up to the intermediate ones. It was a good, gradual progression to build my son's confidence. Work about an hour to go, we were on the 'black diamond' course called Wind Chimes. It was my suns first time doing any kind of zip lining and he loved it! All of the courses are well maintained and in good condition. It's not a typical zip line spot with everyone staying in a group and following a predefined course. The staff was very friendly and encouraging while you choose the trails to try.. Each one is a mix of zip line and obstacle bridges. The staff didn't hover or nag.
In A Nutshell: -The Tahoe Vista Treetop Adventure Park is great place to take a group of veterans, family or friends to overcome some very fun obstacles and zip-lines. -Nestled in the calm, quiet Sierra Nevada forest amongst cute chipmunks and green trees you'll find this fun place. -The instructors/guides are very friendly. -You can spend a few hours here and really workout your mind, body and soul. -You can really learn about your own confidence while accomplishing each obstacle route. -I really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the forest. -Some of the obstacles are very challenging so it's not all very easy, which is good. -Thank you to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Cedar House Sport Hotel for the great day!! Overall, you'll feel very good afterwards and if you can push others in overcoming their fears, your day will be even better!
I thought it’s going to be a kid jungle gym situation but it’s completely exceeded my expectation! Challenging at times against your mobility & coordination, and the thrill of height along the zip line is real! Shout out to my new buddy Ross and the wonderful crew who keep the place super organized and friendly!
I try not to be bossy, but you MUST go to this place! I'm fairly afraid of heights, and I don't have the best balance in the world, but I loved this place! There were enough courses at varying levels that I could start small and move to more difficult courses as my confidence rose. My children, my husband, and I made it through all but one course in the two hours we had to roam. They give you you total freedom, fool-proof equipment, and a forested atmosphere. If you don't participate, there are walkways everywhere so you can get excellent footage, no matter what. ***Ambience warning: The forest at the Tahoe City location is lush, but the one in Olympic Valley is alongside a parking lot and hardly has any trees; so instead of platforms with natural shade and a nice clean breeze, there are little canopies and cars driving by.
Entire family went and the kids, 8 and 11, LOVED it! The ropes courses very challenging. Wish there were more zip lines only.
