  • Beautiful park! There's a lot to do there. The trail that loops around it is really scenic and we'll maintained. If you follow the trail around it leads you down to a large beach, and if your there at the right time you'll be able to watch one of the most beautiful sunsets you ever saw! There's a playground and some water fountains for kids to play around in and a lot of room to run around. The train tracks are pretty cool as well! Typically pretty crowded but possible to find your own space to relax. I love it here.
  • There are two playground areas for smaller and bigger kids, along with swings. They have a spray park in the warmer months. There are trails to walk, people walk their dogs, and I imagine a decent place to run. You can walk down to the water. I know people turn over rocks in search of crabs during low tide (fun for kids if yours isn't scared) and trains come through all the time which my son loves. I believe there's a basketball hoop there as well.
  • Wonderful park ! There is a play ground with spraying water for the kids that was being utilized nicely. The grassy area has ball diamonds & there was a large group ( church ?) of young people having a great time playing kick ball. There are restrooms, picnic tables & parking. When you cross the train tracks there is a pier with tables & a great view of the water, with beach access. Fantastic park.
  • Much less crowded than some other beaches. Good walk around park. Dogs can usually run off leash at the beach. Also a good grassy area for picnics and a little water park and outdoor play ground for kids. Really well maintained
  • Great for a walk on the beach or through the forest on a shaded trail. There is a larger park for family activities with a water park and a duck pond. A very active train track runs between the beach and the main park with a street level crossing and a bridge on a walking trail in the woods. Great if your kids like trains and the beach. There are also a few places to get a quick bite within walking distance.
