  • Not as well known in the Puget Sound area as Woodland Park zoo, but it is a great choice if your in the south sound. We have been there many times and our 6 year old son just loves it. We have done it...  more »

  • Love this Zoo & Aquarium. We live close by and can spend the day here... My son loves the sharks... Can't wait for the new aquarium exhibit opening next year..... I am sure it will be a hit... Great zoo but there is a lot of hills also...
  • This zoo does not have the variety of animals that Woodland does (quite a size difference) however it does have an awesome aquarium. The staff is friendly. At one point two girls were walking an anteater which was neat. They were very friendly with the questions from the guests. The only real issue I had was all the garbage cans near the food court were overflowing. There was garbage on the ground throughout the entire area. The kids had fun and it was a beautiful day. We will be back!
  • Always a great place to bring your children. Great activities, the show is a hit with the kids and is entertaining for the adults as well. You could spend a couple of hours here or you could spend all day here. It's must go to place.
  • Cute zoo and a aquarium with a fun selection of animals and fish. Right now they've got a cool exhibit with art animals made from trash from the ocean. They are also updating parts of the park and it should be open in 2018. Fun activity for the day. On the pricey side. About $15 dollars a person.
  • It's a fairly small zoo, but one of my favorites. They are one of the leaders in restoring the wild red wolf population. Habitats are designed to simulate natural environments as much as possible and the scientists/keepers clearly care about the critters. My favs are the walruses, sea otters, and sharks.
